Send it yourself
Mail your letter and record the date
Finish your packet, mail it to the recipient, then record the date you actually sent it.
The video is not available yet. Every step is written below.
- Follow the packet instructions. Check the address, complete the required details, and sign the letter. Do not mail the instruction cover sheet.
- Include the copies requested for your situation. Keep the originals, a copy of the packet, and your mailing and delivery records.
- After mailing, open My Letters, choose Mark as sent, and enter the actual mailing date. A download is not a mailing or delivery receipt.
What progress looks like: You have mailed the packet and saved evidence of what you sent. The tracker contains the actual mailing date.

Mail the packet to the recipient shown. Keep your mailing receipt and any delivery tracking.
Then return to your dispute tracker. Choose Mark as sent, and use the date you actually mailed it.
That date helps you keep your records organized. It is not proof the recipient received it, and downloading the letter does not start a delivery clock.
